ULTRASOUND
An image of the inside of the body is produced by an ultrasonic scanner using high frequency sound waves. It is among the safest scan kinds you may get. A tiny sensor, or transducer, is moved over the skin throughout the scan. Using its own sound waves that bounce off various body regions, which is then detected as sound waves. The reflected waves are then organized by a computer into a dynamic image, which the radiologist doing the scan utilizes to aid in making a diagnosis.
These include:
- Musculoskeletal: Muscle and Joints including Elite Sports Injuries
- Abdomen: Liver, Kidney, Spleen, Pancreas, Adrenals, Pancreas, Gallbladder, Urinary tract

- Pelvic: Groin, Transabdominal, Gynae, Transvaginal, Testes, Bladder
